Loved this couple!  They are expecting their first baby girl in a

couple of weeks.  Jennifer makes pregnancy look beautiful.

The orange groves are so gorgeous this time of year.

And the smell…heavenly.  I can’t wait to meet this new baby girl!

I am STILL catching up on blogging my Fall family sessions.  The Porter family

was the first to try out my new couch!  I love it!  This family was adorable and

dressed so cute.  And of course, I died over the little dude’s red hair and freckles!

BFF’s, Best Friends Forever, Scottsdale Photo Session

Nat and I met in 6th grade.

We became besties in Junior High when

ties, buttons covers, and applique cow sweatshirts were

all the rage.  She moved to Gilbert freshman year of high school and

attended Highland High the first year it opened.  I stayed in Phoenix and went to

Paradise Valley High School.  Somehow we stayed friends even though

we lived so far.  We would spend weekends at each other’s houses and even vacation with

each other’s families.  We were each other’s bridesmaids and I was in the delivery

room the day her oldest, Brigham, was born.  We  now, after about 15 years, FINALLY live

in Gilbert, minutes from Highland High School.  This year our daughter’s started

6th grade together and are in the same class, and quickly becoming besties.

Full circle…..Now I feel old.  Happy Birthday Nat!

Ray Family at DC Ranch Marketplace Scottsdale Arizona

Jay is crazy and kept us on our toes and laughing throughout this whole family portrait session.  Amber had the

kiddos styled perfectly.  She did a great job of having everybody coordinate without being too matchy matchy. That

must not be a word, since it was underlined in red as I typed, but you get my point.  Right?

I love to shoot at DC Ranch Marketplace in North Scottsdale.  When a client wants cool walls and not so much the field look

I always try to talk them into this place.  It is a bit far from Gilbert, but so worth the trek in my opinion.

There is so much variety and I love all the textures of the different walls. Plus, right around the time

the session is wapping up, you can smell the yummy Grimaldi’s pizza!  A Dr. Pepper and a slice

of Grimaldi’s for the long drive home….YUM.

Thanks Ray family!
